THE VINCE DUNN ORCHESTRA present an evening of music performed by the drum icon, Buddy Rich and his Orchestra. Stories told and shared by a man who actually worked with him in 1986.
The show will be punchy, energetic and full of musical prowess. The Vince Dunn Orchestra will be playing classic Buddy tracks, featuring great soloing from the band.
The two gentlemen in the engine room carrying out this task need little introduction – Vince Dunn and UK drum Legend LIoyd Ryan – it’s going to be hot in there!!
Lloyd Ryan
Lloyd is a British drummer and educator best known for his work as a session musician. Active since the 1960s, he has worked with Ken Mackintosh, Cilla Black, Tommy Cooper, The New Seekers, Tony Christie, Brotherhood of Man. His students have included Phil Collins and Derek McKenzie of Jamiroquai. Ryan has also led his own big band since the 1980s and released his first big band album in 2012.

For the last 30 years Vince has been performing with a wide eclectic mix of artists from The Vince Dunn Orchestra, The Aim, Pharrell Williams, Leon ware, Madonna, The Aim, Courtney Pine, Kylie Monogue, Loose Ends, The Funk Masters, Cleo Laine, Ossibisa, Award Winning Blues Harpist Errol Linton, BBC Jazz Award Winner Liane Carroll and a host of other notable artist.
