Every Wednesday at Kansas Smitty’s, the ‘Basement Tapes’ mix and match members of the Kansas Smitty’s House Band with musicians from around London and further afield to create once-in-a-lifetime intimate concerts.

This evening we’re joined by Femi Koleoso. The lynchpin of the Saturday Night Special band here at the bar. Pharoahe Monch, Mos Def request his skills with the drum sticks for their European tours too when their in town. Luckily he’s not one to let all that go to his head as he’s often found helping behind the bar when things get hectic. Check his own band Ezra collective here.

These nights are centred around originality. Expect to see new material written and rehearsed at the bar that week by groups curated specifically for the night.
Doors at 8pm, show 8.30 to 10.30 with an intermission.
