Basement Tapes ft. Theon Cross

Every Wednesday at Kansas Smitty’s, the ‘Basement Tapes’ mix and match members of the Kansas Smitty’s House Band with musicians from around London and further afield to create once-in-a-lifetime intimate concerts.

One of the quietest guys but when he speaks we all listen and when he plays.. well thats another thing all together. Simply put there isn’t anyone who does what Theon does with a Tuba. Probably why aside from leading his own bands he is a key member of rising stars Sons of Kemet and a host of other groups. Check out his music here.

These nights are centred around originality. Expect to see new material written and rehearsed at the bar that week by groups curated specifically for the night.

Doors at 8pm, show 8.30 to 10.30 with an intermission.
