Expect a wonderfully romantic evening of love songs from this highly acclaimed classic contemporary duo. Enjoy romantic songs from the likes of Sinatra, Adele, Des’ree and Gershwin as this hugely accomplished duo move from Broadway to Beethoven, sprinkling their own special magical infusion of operatic pop, sultry jazz standards and movie soundtracks as they go. British opera star Emily Estelle and award-winning pianist Marina Lieberman are well acclaimed within their own right – Russian-born Marina was titled the ’Most Promising Young Pianist’ in Saint Petersburg and has won the First Federal Prize of Germany and the Steinway Piano Competition in Munich, Germany. She performed at the Royal Albert Hall and worked on her debut solo album ’Pianology’ together with UK #1 classical charts producer John Haywood combining classical greats with sumptuous symphonic versions of modern classics where her extensive musical knowledge allows her to infuse Bach, Beethoven and Brahms masterpieces among contemporary works from artists such as Coldplay and U2 seamlessly. Soprano Emily began her training as a classical singer at the age of 13, studying voice for 5 years at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama befiore gaining a place at the Royal Northern College of Music on the BMus Vocal and Opera course, where she graduated with an Honours Degree.
