The Nightjar’s wonderful regular Tim Penn has put together this trio from the regular musicians in his hot New Orleans R&B band – The Second Line. Featuring Chris Proctor on guitar and Francis Booth on bass, expect Tim’s splendid gumbo of stride piano, boogie, barrel-house blues and the music of the New Orleans piano greats like Professor Longhair, Fats Domino, Dr John, James Booker and Allen Toussaint. And especially for Valentine’s night, Tim is planning to mix some songs of love won and love lost into the set tonight.

And thanks to our friends at Chambord, along with the FREE live set, there will be a delicious menu of reduced-price cocktails specially designed for the evening.
