Jo Harrop pays tribute to Peggy Lee, one of the greatest exponents of Torch Song – those unforgettable laments for unrequited or lost loves. With Alex Webb (piano), Miles Danso (bass), Joel Prime (drums) and special guest Tony Kofi (alto sax), the creamy-voiced Harrop delivers moving renditions of Peggy Lee classics as well as swinging out on other great songs from the canon.

Jo Harrop recently guested on the album ‘Call Me Lucky’ by Alex Webb & The Copasetics, delivering what jazzman.com called ‘a smoothly sumptuous vocal’ on the Webb original ‘End of The Affair’. The album received four-star reviews in the Guardian and Evening Standard.
