Paul Booth has enjoyed mainstream success & toured the world as the featured saxophonist with Steve Winwood. However when not on the road this excellent & versatile musician works with or leads a number of groups, from his new contemporary jazz project with Whirlwind Records founder & virtuoso bassist Michael Janisch, to world music big band Bansangu Orchestra & world music group Patchwork Project, with whom he’s playing the 606 for this September date. Patchwork’s lineup is now augmented by one of the UK’s greatest vocalists, Jacqui Dankworth who has joined the ensemble, adding another dimension to their repertoire.
