Event Details

Experimental jazz and funk collective that explores the sound aesthetic of eclectic musical genres. A fundamental value we share about expression is that one creates the meaning they desire behind their artistry- thus the name ‘Nihilism’

Formed in Summer 2016, Nihilism is a collective that explores experimental jazz, funk and avant garde sounds. They have already made its mark on the London scene, having performed at Ronnie Scott’s, The 100 Club, Royal Festival Hall, London Jazz Festival, Hootananny Brixton & more. They are currently recording their debut EP, which will be released later this year.

This performance is in affiliation with the opening of Jim Aindow‘s new photography exhibition in our Library Gallery that explores the London jazz scene through portraits of the next generation of musicians.
