Kate Williams at Chandos Arms Jazz

Pianist/composer Kate Williams has led projects for a wide range of line-ups, from duo up to septet. Her latest ensemble is Four Plus Three, a collaboration between jazz trio and string quartet featuring original works as well as pieces by Bill Evans and A.C. Jobim. Kate has released several CDs to critical acclaim, including Smoke And Mirrors (with the late Bobby Wellins), and Atlas & Vulcana (a septet featuring Gareth Lockrane and Steve Fishwick) She works with a variety of musicians and bands on the UK scene including Chris Biscoe’s Mingus Moves, The Pete Hurt Jazz Orchestra, Jim Mullen/Zoe Francis Band, and award-winning vocalist Georgia Mancio.
