Event Details

The Dirty Lies
The Dirty Lies are an Anglo-Scottish alternative group, owing much of their sound to acts such as The Velvet Underground, Television and Radiohead. ‘There’s all the woe and melodrama of one of Roger Corman’s Edgar Allan Poe adaptations but it very much carries the grey city grit of a Joy Division, while retaining an effortless modernity without being especially fashionable.’ – Jamie Halliman, GoldFlakePaint ‘It’s all about good tunes, tight playing, a real sense of dynamics and a walk on the dark side.’ – John Robb, Louder Than War
The Saturday Boy
Alt.country, boy-girl heartbreak vocals & plenty of pedal steel guitar. The Saturday Boy started off as a solo project but quickly grew into a fully fledged band effort with top London musicians. Live you can expect a 5 piece with joint boy/girl heartbreak vocals, atmospheric guitar and lots of pedal steel bringing that country sound to a distinctly english songwriting style.
Deliah
After playing festivals such as Watchet & LIMF, as well as supporting artist such as Ady Sulieman & AnthonyDavid, DELIAH are now gearing up from their next release. Having received BBC air play, DELIAH began working with Grammy nominee, Maestro The Baker, on their track Chasing Clouds. This will be followed by a run of shows in the new year.
The combination of Michelle’s soulful voice and Dop’s intricate guitar playing bring a certain class and retro vibe to an undeniable contemporary groove.
Andrew Martin
Honest lyrics set to catchy melodies designed to keep you humming until your nose feels tingly.  A genuine pit yakker (person from County Durham) flourishing in London’s music scene and loving every minute!
