The ensemble has performed at a long list of international festivals and venues, including concerts in Sao Paolo, Montreal, Istanbul, Moscow, Copenhagen & New York. They were selected for the ‘Top 10 live acts of 2014’ by Glitterball NYC.;Mikkel Hess is founder, composer, ‘Minister of Integration’, drummer and vocalist for Hess Is More. He is also a prolific film and theater composer (Royal Theater, Royal Danish Ballet, short and feature films). Mikkel’s very personalized masterful jazz drumming can be heard on several award winning albums, among them the collaborative “You shouldn’t do this if you are in a hurry” featuring Chris Potter on sax.
