Event Details

Three soul divas straight in from the USA and who have all made an impact on the UK Soul Charts, collaborate for a unique and exclusive London show as Gwendolyn Collins presents Moments4Love UK Soul Sessions.
Gwendolyn Collins
Gwendolyn Collins delivers jazzy, funk soul and is one of the hottest new Indie soul artists to make the scene, with her debut album ‘Storytelling Side I, The Simple Things’ reaching the number one spot on the UK Soul Charts and remaining in the chart for over 20 weeks.
With a style and musicality that is rare in performers today, Gwendolyn has been compared to Jill Scott and Erykah Badu, mixed with a little bit of Tracy Chapman and treats audiences to an effortless blend of genres, infused with her individual style of rich vocals and melodic harmonies, showcasing her songwriting and production talents and setting the stage for the first act in a career that demands more than one encore.
Kenya McGuire Johnson
Smooth vocals, contemporary groove, soul with elements of jazz.
Kenya is a richly inspired vocalist/songwriter whose jazz-kissed soul style is wooing admirers simultaneously in the U.S. and UK where her album ‘My Own Skin’ also topped the UK Soul Charts. Inspired by American singer/songwriters such as Stevie Wonder and Lalah Hathaway as well as international groups like Incognito and The Brand New Heavies, Kenya admits that “Music = air”…without it, she simply doesn’t breathe.
” Kenya McGuire Johnson is a very welcome addition to the indie soul musical world.” Soul Tracks
Kenya SoulSinger
Completing this special trinity is R&B, jazz, funk and soul, singer-songwriter Kenya Soulsinger, who uses her sensual alto and haunting falsetto to tell stories of life, love, joy and pain.
Music, especially soul music, has always had a huge influence in her life and this ongoing love affair led to the recording and release of her debut album ‘Groovy Way’ in 2011 which was quickly followed by ‘Django Project’, a collaborative effort with master producer CAP in 2012. The following year saw the release of her third album, ‘The Love You To Life Album’, was produced by the late, great super producer Spyda The Wise Musician.
‘Roses & Champagne’, penned by Kenya Soulsinger was released in 2015 and received rave reviews, quickly climbing the UK Soul Charts and giving another taste of the soul and flavour found in her eagerly awaited LP, ‘Meet Me In The Glow’ (released On February 26, 2016)
