Laura Reznek
Laura Reznek is a Canadian singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose smoky soprano and piano-driven songs give life to a cast of characters you might not always want to meet. She was introduced to the violin at a young age by classical music loving parents, thus beginning a long love affair with sound. Laura’s unique brand of cabaret-pop has matured into a seamlessly surprising host for her equally arresting stories. In October 2014, she released her second album, Who Came Before Us. Currently based in London, England, she is hard at work on some new projects which include a European tour, a new song cycle about a Grey African Parrot named Ernest, and the launch of her new music collective, VESTA.
