 Renowned UK jazz quartet Empirical return to Kings Place for the launch of their much-awaited fifth album, Connection.

Known for their risk-taking creative music and strong live performances, the new album explores how the band musically connect with one another and with its audience.

Recorded after a week of nightly live sessions at London’s iconic Foyles bookshop, the residency gave the band the unique opportunity to finesse the material in front of a live audience.

Connection is the first album exclusively featuring Empirical’s core personnel and aims to capture the essence of the band’s live sound.
