Join the Jazz Plus family for genre-blending jazz flavours from across the UK and thirst-quenching craft lagers from Sweden at the Bermondsey Beer Mile’s freshest hangout: London Calling Sweden. Come and savour the unique drinks on offer and soak up the vibes as Jazz Plus DJs mix up a storm on the decks before the live music starts. Têtes de Pois shake jazz, hiphop and afrobeat into a heady cocktail that makes for a tasty show from this Leeds-based instrumental seven-piece. Support TBC. Energetic and award-winning cinematic seven-piece Têtes de Pois cleaned up in 2017, achieving a coveted HMUK Development Award and winning the Love Supreme Festival Competition. 2018 saw an extended writing and recording period followed by an autumn tour around the UK. 2019 has seen this instrumental band release their EP ‘Framework’, and perform at festivals including Green Man, We Out Here and Shambala. They’ve shared stages with Ezra Collective, Fatima and the Eglo Band and Soweto Kinch. Their performance at the 2019 EFG London Jazz Festival will be rammed full of new material as well as old favourites that have helped cement them as part of Leeds’ blossoming jazz scene.

Support – ***Brother’s Testament*** – groove-based jazz fusion from London. Their sound amalgamates powerful grooves and stirring melodies whilst being rooted in the jazz tradition.
