Britain’s greatest song stylist Barb Jungr brings together her finest collection to date in a celebration of the work of Nina Simone. Barb is perhaps best known to audiences for her interpretations of Bob Dylan’s songs which brought comparisons to Piaf, Peggy Lee and Simone herself – but Jungr is unique. With humour, humanity and intelligence she continues to prove herself a “peerless interpreter of contemporary song” (Jazzwise) and “casually virtusosic” (TheGuardian).
